Section titled “Engagement summary”Great Migrations partnered with the client to modernize a mission-critical VB6 desktop application used to search, view, annotate, and print engineering drawings across multiple production facility databases. A critical aspect of this effort was developing a high-performance viewer for browsing and printing collections of large, multi-page TIFF files. The project delivered a .NET solution rewritten as C#/.NET and verified against a signed-off test plan with more than 100 functional test cases. Project results included:
